Understand the Exam Format — Before Exam Day
The CILT Transport Manager CPC case study exam has a very specific format. Knowing your subject matter is essential — but understanding how the exam works and how to structure your answers is just as important.
Many capable students lose marks not because they don't know the material, but because they don't present their answers in the way the CILT examiners expect. This session is designed to close that gap.
We examine the pre-released case study scenarios as a group, discussing the types of questions that may be asked and how to extract the correct information and write a clear, concise answer.

Pre-Released Scenarios
Before each sitting, CILT releases the case study scenarios in advance. We work through these as a group, breaking down the information provided and identifying what the examiners are likely to ask — so nothing catches you off guard on the day.
Question Types & Format
The CILT case study uses specific question formats that differ from other examining bodies. We look at the types of questions you'll face, how marks are allocated, and what the examiners are actually looking for in a strong answer.
Answer Structure & Technique
Knowing the material isn't enough — how you present your answer matters. We cover how to write concise, structured responses that hit the marking criteria, including how to lay out workings and reference scenario information correctly.
Live Group Discussion
This isn't a recorded video — it's a live, interactive Zoom session where you can ask questions, work through problems as a group, and get direct guidance from an experienced CPC trainer. If something isn't clear, you can get an answer there and then.
